About This Role
Are you fluent in another language and passionate about making Stoic wisdom more accessible across cultures? The Stoic Fellowship is looking for volunteer Translators to help adapt key materials—such as articles, guides, and outreach content—into other languages for our global audience.
Your work will help Stoic communities around the world access high-quality content in their native languages and feel more connected to the international movement.
Responsibilities
- Translate TSF content (blog posts, guides, emails, or promotional materials) into target languages
- Collaborate with other volunteers to ensure accuracy and tone alignment
- Assist with proofreading and quality control of translated materials
- Help identify language-specific needs or opportunities within global Stoic communities
- Maintain alignment with Stoic principles—especially clarity, wisdom, and justice—in all communications
Ideal Qualities
- Passion for Stoicism and a strong command of at least one language beyond English
- Experience with translation, editing, or localization (a plus)
- Attention to detail and sensitivity to cultural nuance
- Ability to work independently and meet occasional deadlines
- Relevant experience or eagerness to learn
Time Commitment
This is a flexible volunteer role. We ask for a commitment of 2–4 hours per month, depending on translation volume and project needs.
