Social Media Manager

About This Role

Do you enjoy crafting meaningful posts and fostering thoughtful engagement online? The Stoic Fellowship is looking for a volunteer Social Media Manager to help share our mission, events, and ideas with a wider audience through platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who understands digital culture and wants to use social media for good—to spread Stoic principles in a clear, engaging, and inspiring way.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and publish social media content aligned with TSF’s voice and goals
• Collaborate with volunteers to promote events, blog posts, opportunities, and educational content
• Respond to comments and messages with warmth and clarity
• Track performance metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly
• Maintain alignment with Stoic virtues—especially wisdom, moderation, and justice—in all public posts

Ideal Qualities

• Passion for Stoicism and digital storytelling
• Experience with social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Strong writing and content curation skills
• Organized and proactive—comfortable planning content calendars
• Familiarity with tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or native platform schedulers
• Relevant experience or eagerness to learn

Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer role. We ask for a commitment of 3–5 hours per week, depending on campaign activity and content needs.
