Brand Strategist

About This Role

Do you have a strategic mind for brand identity, positioning, and storytelling? The Stoic Fellowship is looking for a volunteer Brand Strategist to help shape and guide how our organization is presented to the world. In this role, you'll refine messaging, align visuals and voice across platforms, and ensure that every touchpoint reflects our mission and Stoic values.

Your work will help build a consistent, trustworthy, and inspiring identity for a global movement rooted in timeless wisdom.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TSF volunteers to define and evolve the TSF brand strategy
• Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and visuals across all digital and print materials
• Create or refine brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and positioning statements
• Support marketing, content, and design teams in aligning with the brand vision
• Offer insight on how the brand is perceived and how to strengthen its public presence
• Maintain alignment with Stoic virtues—especially wisdom, justice, and clarity—in all strategic decisions

Ideal Qualities

• Passion for Stoicism and interest in supporting a values-aligned brand
• Experience with branding, communications, or marketing strategy
• Ability to think both creatively and analytically about storytelling and identity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strategic mindset with an eye for both big-picture vision and small design details
• Relevant experience or eagerness to learn

Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer role. We ask for a commitment of 3–5 hours per month, depending on project cycles and strategic initiatives.
